ABOUT
The Marionettefestival is an international festival of puppetry and contemporary object theatre. The programme covers a wide range of styles and approaches to these disciplines, and offers, through its themes, shows, workshops and street programmes aimed at a family audience.
The barns and garages of individuals, as well as the village church, constitute the unusual stages where the performances take place. This deliberate choice to break with conventional theatrical codes reinforces the friendly and intimate side specific to the festival. For a weekend, the small village of Tadler is transformed into an open-air theater!
